- CALLING ALL MERIT BADGE BOOKS! Do you have any merit badge pamphlets (books) you no longer need? Please consider donating your used pamphlets and/or purchasing a NEW book from the Scout Shop to donate to the troop library for other Scouts to use. Bring them to any troop meeting and give them to William C., our Troop Librarian, for addition to the library. Check out the troop library list on the Merit Badges web page to see if we have a merit badge book you need!
- COMMITTEE CHAIR CHALLENGE TO ALL ADULTS: BIG goal for 2012: to see EVERY adult offer to assist the troop in the coming months in TWO of five targeted ways: (1) help with Boards of Review for rank advancement, (2) help as a merit badge counselor, (3) serve on the troop Committee or a subcommittee position, (4) serve as an Assistant Scoutmaster, and/or (5) help transport Scouts to/from campouts. Contact Committee Chair Byrne or Scoutmaster Garza to let them know where you want to "plug in".
